A low-energy, bench-top electrochemical spectroscopic method for measuring the electronic structure of molecular scale ensembles

This lecture introduces relativistic quantum mechanical principles and show how to use the quantum electrodynamics of redox reactions to develop better room-temperature electroanalytical devices. It permits use in-situ determination of the electronic structure of low-dimensional materials as the transducer signal. It will be shown how to measure the electronic structure of quantum dots and single-layer graphene.
